    Description

    Here is another very old and early one-sided 7-inch record. This is “Improved Gramophone Record" by the Conlolidated Talking Machine Company of Philadelphia. The title is “Whistling Rufus” by Sousa’s Band Number A-361. This company evolved to be the Victor Talking Machine headed by Eldridge R. Johnson. I think this is from around 1900. It has an intact label on the back. I can see no physical damage but I haven’t played it.
